"This is something that’s out of the ordinary, obviously highly dangerous," WSP Trooper Rick Johnson said. "We absolutely tip our hats to the Seattle police department which responded quickly along with us, and because of them, we were able to apprehend these three individuals and subsequently book them into the King County Jail."
"We received a 911 call from a victim saying that they were taking the ramp from NB I-5 to Dearborn and came across some taggers," Johnson said. "As they were passing through or leaving that area, they heard shots fired. Thankfully their vehicle wasn’t hit." This latest incident comes as local authorities try to crack down on graffiti taggers, arresting more than a dozen in December and charging many with malicious mischief.
