The pair were nabbed by Jersey City police officers at the North District on Central Avenue who heard them damaging one of the vehicles, a spokeswoman said.
The windshields of multiple vehicles parked on and near Central Avenue in the Heights neighborhood of Jersey City were smashed Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024. Two men have been charged with smashing at least a half a dozen windshields, threatening to kill police officers and throwing urine at officers in a random vandalism spree and its aftermath early Sunday morning in Jersey City, authorities said.
