In a media briefing on Friday, the ANC said it intends to file a motion of no confidence against Brink, citing a deterioration of governance in the capital city.
JOHANNESBURG - The Democratic Alliance in Tshwane said that frustration over missing out on lucrative waste removal tenders is behind the African National Congress wanting to remove Mayor Cilliers Brink.
It said all trucks collecting waste for the capital city needed to be not older than nine years, have tracking chips and be roadworthy. DA Tshwane chairperson, Jacqui Uys, said that this was the real reason behind the ANC’s motion of no-confidence
