"This is the gunman’s gun, loaded , and ready to go – What is that all about? Where are the local Police?" Trump wrote onwith a photo of the alleged gun. "Why weren’t they allowed to protect ICE Officers? The Mayor and the Governor called them off? It is stated that many of these Police were not allowed to do their job, that ICE had to protect themselves — Not an easy thing to do!"at Pretti, an intensive care nurse at the Minneapolis VA hospital. His family members confirmed he had a permit to carry a concealed weapon.after the shooting condemning the "sickening lies told about our son by the administration," calling them "reprehensible and disgusting." Alex is clearly not holding a gun when attacked by Trump's murdering and cowardly ICE thugs," the statement read. "He has his phone in his right hand and his empty left hand is raised above his head while trying to protect the woman ICE just pushed down all while being pepper sprayed. During his interview with the Wall Street Journal, Trump indicated immigration enforcement would eventually be withdrawn from the Minneapolis area as calls for investigations grow. “At some point we will leave. We’ve done, they’ve done a phenomenal job,” Trump said, but did not provide a timeline for the dismissal.
