WASHINGTON—President Trump released a list of potential Supreme Court nominees that he said he would choose from in a second term if a vacancy occurs, in a bid to shore up support among conservative voters ahead of the November election.

The list includes 20 names that weren’t on Mr. Trump’s previous shortlists, including several of his own appointees to the appellate courts who were confirmed by the Republican-controlled Senate over strenuous Democratic opposition.
