S. forces could take control of Kharg Island as the, Trump said his preference would be to “take the oil in Iran,” a move that would likely involve capturing Kharg Island, through which roughly 90% of Iran’s crude exports pass.He also claimed the U.S. has identified about 3,000 potential targets in Iran, while signaling openness to diplomacy. “A deal could be made fairly quickly,” Trump added.
