While Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Chris Bishop said none of these crashes invovled serious injuries, there were multiple that resulted in minor injuries and lane closures. This spike in traffic hazards comes during a Winter Weather Advisory in place for much of the Salt Lake Valley. The advisory, to be lifted at midnight Monday, was issued by the National Weather Service due to falling snow, possible thunderstorms, and stints of grauple along Interstate 80 and Interstate 15. Winter driving conditions will remain probable throughout the forecasted period.are expected to experience weather-related hazards through Sunday afternoon.
"Slow down, give yourself plenty of time and space," Sgt. Bishop advisde motorists. "Eliminate any distractions and wear your seat belt."---------------------------
