Strong wind gusts over the weekend caused property damage across the state, including the ripping off of the roof of Gospel Grace Church in Salt Lake City
“That's a scary thing right there. Having a roof ripped off when you're right in the building," said Pastor Will Galkin of Gospel Grace Church., and the Gospel Grace Church’s roof ripped off.Galkin said that he didn't expect the harsh winds to impact the church the way they did. "We're all pretty frail. And it doesn't take much for there to be something that disrupts us," said Galkin.In the midst of the damage, Galkin is grateful that the community is always there—in good and bad times.
"We were able to get up there with some members, as well as some community members; people from the community just came over and helped, and we're able to tarp it down," said Galkin.Stay Connected
