Kevin started his football career as a trainee at Arsenal before making his senior debut in 1988 against Everton
Tributes are continuing to flood in for former Nottingham Forest footballer Kevin Campbell. Kevin, who spent three years at the City Ground, died on Saturday, June 15 at the age of 54 following a short illness.
The striker went on to score eight times in 10 matches when Arsenal won the First Division title in the 1990/91 campaign. In total, he scored 60 goals in 224 appearances for the Gunners, before leaving Arsenal in 1995 for Nottingham Forest. Following the announcement of his passing, Nottingham Forest took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to pay tribute to Kevin. The club wrote: "Everyone at Nottingham Forest is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Kevin Campbell. Kevin spent three seasons at #NFFC and was part of the side which earned promotion from the First Division as champions in 1998.
"Kevin was adored by everyone at the club. All of us are thinking of his friends and family at this difficult time. Rest in peace, Kevin."
