Thu, February 22nd 2024 at 10:24 AMThe York County District Attorney has confirmed that a date has now been set for a case that shocked the York community back in 2019.43-year-old Levar Fountain was charged with two counts of criminal homicide for the killing of his parents but, since then, the charges have been changed to third and first degree murder charges as of 2023.
Court records state that Fountain killed his 74-year-old and 65-year-old parents inside their home, located on 312 Wallace St. Now, following a status hearing on Wednesday, the DA confirms that the trial date for Fountain has been set for Sept. 16 of 2024. CBS 21 reached out to Fountain's attorney to see what defense they will use for him and they responded with "no comment" at this time.
