R&B singer Trey Songz allegedly forced himself on two women after they passed out at his residence. He denies the claims through his lawyer.
is facing a new sexual assault and battery lawsuit from two women for a 2015 incident, according to a filing obtained byThe women claim they passed out at the R&B singer’s home in Bell Canyon, California eight years ago and woke up to him forcing himself on them.
“This is yet another example of nearly decade-old allegations being repurposed to take advantage of California’s constitutionally questionable new look-back window. We look forward to vindicating Trey on the merits in court,” his lawyer Michael Freeman said in a statement sent to“Trey Songz, cloaked in his celebrity status, believed he could act with impunity. He is wrong,” the new lawsuit filed Wednesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court states.
The party inside included dozens of women but only three men, per the suit. Neverson allegedly suggested a “twerking contest for a $3,000 prize” and “unleashed a torrent of verbal abuse” as he “ordered” his female guests to dance, the lawsuit claims. The next morning, Jane Doe A “awoke to the traumatic realization” she was fully naked, with Neverson, also naked, performing non-consensual oral sex on her, the lawsuit claims. Jane Doe B allegedly woke up a few minutes later, also naked, and claims Neverson bit her breast and forced his fingers into her vagina.
