Alamo Heights’ Leo Bowen cleared 16 feet in the pole vault at the Boerne Champion Charger Relays, winning the event by two feet.The junior earned four medals, including two gold, to lead the Rattlers to the team championship at the DeSoto Nike Invitational. Dagrosa won the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 43.99 seconds. She also won the long jump with a mark of 18-s4 inches.
Dagrosa also finished second in the 100 hurdles and teamed with Josephine Zink, Nnenna Opara and MacKenzie Dagrosa for a second-place finish in the 1,600 relay .
