Beyond his Air Force service, Maj. Gen. Robert Stillman served as a member of the football coaching staff at the U.S. Military Academy. SanAntonio SATX SanAntonioTX uniquehome beautifulhome RealEstate

The late Maj. Gen. Robert Stillman, who owned the two-story estate during the 1970s, had a lengthy resume that included stints as commandant of cadets for the U.S. Air Force Academy, commander of Lackland Military Training Center in San Antonio and commander of the 313th Air Division, Okinawa.

Beyond his military service, Stillman attended Colorado College on a football scholarship and went on to serve as a member of the football coaching staff at the U.S. Military Academy. In 1959,Stillman's former Alamo Heights residence has been renovated several times since its 1937 construction, including the transformation of its original garage into more living space, the agent noted. However, it's unclear whether Stillman had anything to do with that.

A central courtyard with a balcony and a backyard pool offer standout features on the five-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath property.
