To stand on Ben Keating’s property in the Boree Valley, west of the Central Coast in NSW, is to be where everything feels like a Sunday.
Sunday in the kitchen, Sunday in the living room, Sunday on the front porch — much like the idyllic vision American Author E.B. White described in his essay, Sabbath Morn.Built mostly with his hands over the course of two decades, he refers to his bushland haven simply as"the farm".But on October 26, 2019, the nearby Gospers Mountain fire ignited, posing a threat to Mr Keating's property and the valley.
