Effective April 1.
In a statement, Touch ‘n Go said Praba, who joined the company in June 2021 is currently deputy CEO, business and growth.
In less than two years, he has spearheaded the launch of new products and introduced new revenue streams, including RFID for expressway toll payments and fueling, the enhanced Touch ‘n Go NFC card for improved customer conveniences, and the acquisition of an unprecedented number of new parking sites in 2022.
Prior to joining Touch ‘n Go, Praba was the CEO of Xperanti IoT Sdn Bhd. Before that, he was chief operating officer at Sapura Secured Technologies. “Praba’s vast experience prior to joining Touch ‘n Go coupled with his experience in running Touch ‘n Go’s Business & Growth division, will be invaluable in taking the company to the next level of growth.
“He will be responsible for continuing the growth trajectory of the group’s businesses as we navigate an increasingly competitive landscape in the fintech industry,” chairman Datuk Zainal Abidin Putih said.
