Toshiba today has launched three new TVs for the Malaysian market. These include the Z670M and Z870M models, which are
equipped with the brand’s latest REGZA Engine ZRi chip with AI capabilities, VIDAA OS platform, and are also offered in 65- and 55-inch sizes.
The first TV, the Toshiba Z670M, is marketed to provide consumers with high-end cinematic and gaming experiences. It features a Quantum Dot LED panel and an onboard REGZA Engine ZRi chip, which enables it to deliver high-quality visuals at up to 4K resolution with Dolby Vision and HDR 10+ support. Also onboard is a Full Array Local Dimming Pro function that improves the contrast ratio of light and dark scenes by adjusting the backlight zones.
Next up is the Toshiba Z870M model, which pretty much features the same REGZA powered technologies as well as the numerous visual and audio enhancements as its sibling. However, it loses the adaptive VRR capability but gains a Mini LED panel and the more powerful REGZA Bass Woofer PRO sound enhancement.Besides that, the TV comes with Far Field Voice, a feature that lets users remotely navigate its controls by voice command.
Today’s launch also saw the introduction of a third TV, the Toshiba M550M. Unlike the two that were mentioned above, this particular model comes equipped with the brand’s REGZA Engine ZR and runs on Google TV. Additionally, it features a Quantum Dot LED panel which supports resolutions of up to 4K, and comes with Dolby Vision HDR as well as Colour Re-Master Pro. For audio, the M550M offers REGZA Power Audio PRO, Tru Bass Booster, and REGZA Bass Woofer technologies.
