The weather service also has issued a heat advisory until 8 p.m. Friday for more than a dozen counties including Dallas, Tarrant, Kaufman and Ellis. High temperatures mixed with high humidity means heat index values are projected to reach anywhere from 106 to 112 degrees.by the end of the week.
