14, 2025.Toms River South won two individual titles to lead the team title at the Walter Woods Tournament, hosted by Middletown South. Toms River South scored 189 team points, while West Essex scored 179 to take second and Middletown South finished third with 155.5.Brett Rankin won the 215-pound title for TRS with an 11-8 sudden victory win over Shawn Retta while Vincent Pedalino recorded a 15-0 tech at 113 over Midd South’s Liam O’Reilly. The hosting Eagles won three titles on their home mat. Tyler Alweiss won the 144-pound title with a 7-1 decision over West Essex’s Dante D’Achille, John McCormack pinned his way to the 175-pound title and at 157 Matthew Caccamo recorded a 7-1 decision over Toms River South’s Jeffrey Hare.Donnie Tibbitt and Kevin Pasquince picked up finals wins for Manalapan, and Allentown had a pair of champs in Dominic Baldino .
