The trio of programs, comprising a stand-up special, a documentary, and an unscripted series , were announced as part of a Canadian content slate for Prime Video last year and will be available to Prime subscribers globally. The stand-up special will premiere on January 24th.
The documentary, which Green directed, will delve into his early life and the beginning of his comedy career in Canada. It will continue to trace his ascent to fame through MTV in the mid-1990s and early 2000s, including the controversies that followed, and ultimately his return to Canada, where he now resides on a farm. This film is scheduled to premiere on January 31st.Rounding out the trio is an unscripted series that chronicles Green's life on a farm, featuring a 1,500-pound mule, a donkey, and six chickens. The series will premiere between the stand-up special and the documentary. Green directed all three projects and serves as executive producer through his Tom Green Productions Canada, alongside Rory Rosegarten.
