The tourist vessel has gone missing in the Atlantic Ocean
A submersible which carried tourists to view the wreckage of the Titanic has gone missing, with American authorities launching a search and rescue mission.
There are no details as of yet about how many people were onboard the submersible when it went missing.The wreckage of the Titanic lies about 400 miles off the coast of Newfoundland in Canada and tourists can pay to board a submersible and go and view it.It is believed that tour groups are usually fairly small, generally comprising about five people.
