He arrived at the ministry at around 6.10pm still in his black baju melayu attire, fresh from the swearing-in ceremony before the Yang di-Pertuan Agong at Istana Melawati on Tuesday .Zafrul has 22 years of experience in the financial sector.
Prior to his resignation as the CIMB Group Holdings Bhd chief executive officer and executive director, Zafrul had worked in Maybank Investment Bank Bhd as chief executive officer; Citigroup Malaysia; Kenanga Holdings Bhd and Avenue Securities.
