Bintulu MP Tiong King Sing has failed to attend his swearing-ing ceremony as deputy minister in the National Unity Ministry, with news reports indicating that he has rejected his appointment. – Facebook pic, March 10, 2020.

BINTULU MP Tiong King Sing was a much sought after man today after failing to attend his swearing-in as a deputy minister in the new cabinet at Istana Melawati in Putrajaya today. No official reason was given for the absence of the five-term MP but The Borneo Post, quoting sources, claimed the president of Progressive Democratic Party “had turned down the appointment” as deputy minister in the National Unity Ministry.
