NSTnation It is time for the Health Ministry to reveal the locality of those who tested positive for Covid19, said former Deputy Health Minister Dr Lee Boon Chye.
“The information on the locality of patients who are tested positive for Covid-19 should be shared with members of the public so that there would be no fake news and unnecessary doubts.
Dr Lee said should there be any individual with a history of positive Covid-19, restricted movement order must be imposed for people in the area at the same time. “We don’t have to expose the identity of the patient but the locality or where the patient is staying must be revealed to others. This could help the ministry to curb the spread of this pandemic.
However, Dr Lee said there were some restrictions that need to be enhanced such as restriction on the entry of a Malaysian to another part of the state.
