Houston police are seeking out three suspects in the shooting of a man outside a convenience store
Another suspect wanted in the shooting has a surveillance photo from inside the convenience store. His identity has not yet been disclosed.A murder charge has been filed against one of the three suspects Houston police are searching for in the fatal shooting of a man outside a southwest Houston convenience store, according to HPD.
William Cooper, 22, is charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the shooting that took place around 3:30 p.m. Thursday at 12302 Hillcroft, police said in a news release. He is not in custody. Witnesses said the man had gotten into a verbal altercation with Cooper in the convenience store. Cooper shot him, then chased him outside and shot him again, according to officials.
Paramedics took the 27-year-old man to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he died, police said in a news release.The gunfire also struck the windshield of the victim's car, where a child was inside. The child was not injured, authorities said.One of them is suspected of picking up evidence before they all fled, officials said.
