Three people were fatally shot in two incidents in the Boksburg North policing precinct on August 24.

According to provincial police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Mavela Masondo, a security guard noticed the abandoned bakkie.Paramedics were contacted, and they were both certified dead.Masondo said the murders are suspected to be related to taxi violence but could not divulge further information at this stage.Another man was shot and killed following an armed robbery at the Engen garage on Pretoria Road at about 21:00.

“He then took an undisclosed amount of money and two energy drinks from the shelves and left,” said Mngomezulu.
