The raids were carried out as part of Lancashire Constabulary's Operation Warrior to tackle serious and organised crime
Lancashire Constabulary's neighbourhood task force in Wyre executed a number of drugs warrants in May following an investigation into the supply of Class A substances. Police said the raids came about after an extensive probe sparked by community intelligence.
Thomas Cawley, 27, of Forshaw Close, Fleetwood was charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs - heroin, possession with intent to supply class A drugs - crack cocaine and two counts of assault by beating of an emergency worker. Paul Ellerker, 54, of Hatfield Avenue, Fleetwood was charged with being concerned in supply of a class A controlled drug - heroin and being concerned in supply of a class A controlled drug - crack cocaine.
Chief Superintendent Karen Edwards said: “These charges are the result of community intelligence and dedicated targeting of drug dealers by the Wyre Neighbourhood Task Force.
