Tens of thousands of protestors across the Bay Area were expected to taketo the streets Saturday in a nationwide effort to protest the Trump administration amid a The event marked the third “No Kings Day” protest — a national campaign in opposition to what participants deem the Trump administration’s “authoritative rule” and policies they say undermine democracy.
TheOrganizers were predicting that the spring rallies Saturday could continue the trend of larger crowds between the first two events, and hoping for the single largest day of organization nationwide since Trump returned to office for his second term. The first “No Kings” protest in June drew a reported 5 million participants across the nation, according to the coalition behind the campaign.
