We lost to Moorpark our freshmen year 60-0,” said senior wideout Will Halub. “A lot of us were here for the two 0-10 seasons. It changed from day one with coach [Evan] Yabu. He turned around that 0-10 mentality to that hopefully undefeated mentality.
The Musketeers, who came into Friday’s game with a 5-2 record, got out to a 10-point lead in the first half and were up 17-14 with less than four minutes remaining in the game.“We are never down on each other. We always pick each other up,” Martin said. “Couple dropped balls at the end but we lifted them up.”
