Streisand, who founded Broadway Roulette, which allows people to buy Broadway tickets for just $49, set her sights on the retail industry when she saw a big shift in how people were buying clothes. “I saw the vast improvements in ecommerce to the flywheel of fast fashion to the rise of direct-to-consumer brands and influencers and I realized that shoppers are left with innumerable options and almost no objective advice,” says Durand Streisand.

Users complete a short Style Quiz to get matched with a personal stylist based on criteria such as where they shop, how they like to look, and if they’ve ever fallen in love with a pair of shoes. Client and stylist then meet for a virtual one-hour Styling Session to review the client’s current wardrobe and create new outfits from clothes the client already owns. “After one hour with your stylist, you have several new outfits ready to go— without buying anything,” says Durand Streisand.
