Steve and Jacquie Ferentinos have owned and operated many successful businesses in the area, and a bagel shop had been on their list of concepts.
Steve was born in raised in New York and then moved to North Jersey. Jacquie grew up in the restaurant business. When they began dating 18 years ago, they would travel around New York in search of the best bagels. Now their dough comes fresh from New York, then is proofed and baked on-site daily. Bagel Boutique offers about 20 unique cream cheese flavors — aka schmears — plus mouthwatering sandwiches, crisp salads and trending beverages. The decor is modern and a sight for foodies. The restaurant’s tagline is “All You Knead is Love … and Bagels.”Unique dishes are not offered around here. These are made with quality ingredients. The chopped Italian hoagie, because it is chopped, allows you to taste all the flavors in every single bite.
The Pastrami Mami is made with smoked pastrami, pepper jack cheese, over easy egg and smoked bacon jam on a toasted everything bagel.The Pastrami Mami combines a classic New York comfort food but also meets the need of a busy morning as an “on the go” sandwich. This was created because we had done something similar at a different restaurant and it was very popular, especially with those from the New Jersey/New York area, so we wanted to cater a breakfast sandwich specifically to that crowd.
