This awesome new Windows 11 AI feature is making Mac users jealous

You can now use 'Hey, Copilot' to talk to the AI on Windows 11 like you talk to people, something Siri can't do on the Mac.

I was annoyed earlier this year to see that the signature feature of Apple Intelligence that Apple unveiled last year turned out to be vaporware, at least for now. I'm talking about smart Siri, which should be able to surface information from the apps you have installed on iPhone, iPad, and Mac to help you control some apps. Apparently, it isn't reliable enough for Apple to release just yet. So, we have to wait.

That's an amazing capability that some AI models now offer: the ability to talk to chatbots via voice, just like you'd talk to a person. There will be connectivity issues and glitches that affect performance, but overall, those chats are great to have. The advantage of using Copilot over Advanced Voice Mode is that it's integrated into Windows 11. You don't need to open an app or press a button to start your voice chat with Copilot.
