Guests can access WiFi, charging stations, showers, locker rooms and other gym resources without a membership beginning immediately, through Jan. 15, the gym said Wednesday.

Southern California Planet Fitness locations are offering free gym access to residents and first responders affected by the destructive wildfires burning in Los Angeles County.More than 30,000 residents in Southern California are under evacuation orders as several wildfires burn in the Los Angeles area. The Palisades Fire began Tuesday morning and has destroyed 1,000 structures.

At least two people have died during the wildfires, authorities announced Wednesday. The fires ignited during extreme Santa Ana winds in Southern California. Gov.
