Tom Brady clearly still wants to play in the NFL, but he'll have to make sacrifices to earn that right again.
He's stayed as close to the game as possible, serving as an analyst while somehow being a minority owner and being a flag football ambassador for Fanatics.faced some pushback from the leagueHowever, that's only possible if he does something he may not be willing to do.
Per NFL insider Mike Florio,"Either way, Brady knows he can’t play unless he sells his piece of the Raiders. Given that he got it at a reduced price , Brady is choosing to keep his piece of the team and to stay on the sidelines. Except when the time comes to play flag football again," Florio wrote. There have been conflicting reports about Brady's actual role with the Raiders. Alex Guerrero, his personal trainer and business partner, is reportedly his eyes and ears in the organization, and he played a role in their last two head-coaching searches. However, he claims to have more of a passive role with the team, so the truth perhaps is somewhere in between. That said, Brady is a winner, but he's a competitor first. He wants to have it and do it all because he legitimately believes he can excel at everything. That's why he's never going to go down without a fight, and if he's ever truly interested in coming back, he'll do whatever it takes to ensure he doesn't have to give up anything.
