Each Terminator movie has introduced new and terrifying Skynet weapons, but the most dangerous one has yet to make an appearance on the big screen.
While each of the six movies in the Terminator franchise has introduced new and terrifying Skynet weapons, the most dangerous of all still hasn't made an appearance on the silver screen. Beginning with Arnold Schwarzenegger's T-800 and Robert Patrick's T-1000 in the original Terminator films, every movie has put a new spin or advancement on the form of the Terminators pursuing the main protagonists.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Outside the six movies, the Terminator universe has continued to expand across other media. Some of Skynet's greatest weapons have been introduced in additions to the movie continuity, such as the brainwashed humans introduced in The Terminator: The Dark Years comic miniseries from Alan Grant, Mel Rubi and Trevor McCarthy.
The T-1000000 Is Skynet's Most Dangerous Terminator The T-1000000, or T-Meg, was introduced in T2-3D: Battle Across Time, the attraction introduced at the Universal Orlando theme park in 1996. The now-closed live attraction operated as a mini-sequel to Terminator 2: Judgment Day, and reunited director James Cameron and the primary cast members from the two original movies.
Why The T-1000000 Has Never Appeared In The Movies Given that each Terminator movie has tried to introduce more lethal Terminators, it seems odd that they wouldn't have introduced the T-1000000 in any of the six films released so far. However, the T-1000000 seems to be a casualty of the constant alteration of the universe's main timeline.
However, Terminator 2: Dark Fate put the story back in James Cameron's hands, and that does provide some hope for the return of the T-1000000. Cameron was responsible for the story of the T2-3D: Battle Across Time attraction, and given that he was willing to return to the franchise once it's possible he returns again with the universe's progression back under his control.
