The Stone of Destiny, the most symbolic stone in the British Isles, has returned to Perth. It is now showcased in a new museum that explores the history of Scotland's second smallest city and addresses various topics such as the Clearances, the Jacobites, the Suffragettes, and the curation of 'colonial' collections. The stone, originally located at Scone Palace, was stolen by Edward I in 1296 and remained in Westminster Abbey until Scottish students retrieved it in 1950.
