Online tickets to see the Stone of Destiny this weekend were all gone within 13 minutes
The ownership of the £27 million Perth Museum will hand over to the people of Perth this Saturday when it opens its doors to the public for the first time.
Admission to the museum's debut exhibition Unicorn is £10 for adults, £8 for concessions and under 10s go free. Artefacts were transferred from the old Perth Museum and Art Gallery - now Perth Art Gallery - to the new Perth Museum in what was Perth City Hall. And despite the collection on display doubling, there is still more which could go on display. And the museum's centrepiece - the Stone of Destiny - does not disappoint.
The museum has been supported by £10 million from the UK Government as part of the Tay Cities Region Deal.
