The atmosphere is electric in Bloemfontein ahead of Saturday’s test match between the Springboks and Portugal. The Springbok squad tookto the Loch Logan Mall in the city. This was part of the build-up to the test match that will be played in a sold-out Free State stadium.
Members of the Springboks’ Rugby World Cup squad accompanied the trophy to its fourth stop. The fans were fired up to see the coveted silverware, as well as the local heroes, Ox Nche and Cobus Reinach. “I’m very excited, I’m always excited to put on the Springbok jersey just to show the talent god has given you and doing that back home where I was born and bred it’s unbelievable and the sold-out stadium is going to be a massive vibe,” says Cobus Reinach, Springbok Scrumhalf.
“I’m actually super excited because you know Bloemfontein is the place to be you know our national teams are winning here. You can even see here today, look around the support is great imagine yourself by Saturday how will it be…go bokke go,” a fan shouts.
