The Springboks are set to hand out at least one more debut when the World Champions take on Portugal next week, with the player revealed!
That sees the Springboks and Ireland share the spoils, with the two-match series finishing 1-1. Now for the home side, their international season continues with yet another encounter, this time against Portugal.’s men will take on their European counterparts in a once-off friendly Test match in Bloemfontein. With this game being the last ahead of theit was always going to be interesting to see how the team management approach it.
Speaking to the media ahead of the Ireland Test, Erasmus confirmed that they would decide the approach later. That decision would also tie into how the Springboks performed against the number two side in the world. Had they won the series they would have had a lot more scope to give debuts. But now after a draw, it seems they will bring back some capped players as part of their rotation.
