The stunning waterfall hidden inside a 'lost' Lancashire garden
In the shadows of Rivington Pike, nestled among beautiful woodland is a 'lost' walled garden. Rivington Terraced Gardens., near Chorley, span a whopping 45 acres and feature a lake, walking trails, wildlife havens, stone archways and landmark.
Sit on one of the lakeside benches and listen to the water has it rapidly flows down, which you can hear from a distance, inventively getting loader the closer you approach. "The weather was perfect, there was hardly anyone there so we got some lovely pictures and we took our daughter for her first hike with her new walking boots, she's turning into a keen explorer "It was absolutely stunning today."
