Exclusive: Screen Rant is proud to present a featurette from The Santa Clauses season 2, which introduces the show's latest additions.
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Screen Rant is proud to present an exclusive featurette from Disney+'s original series The Santa Clauses. The first two episodes of season 2 will premiere on the streaming service on Wednesday, November 8 with new installments dropping weekly.
Although the series will continue to feature many of the same characters as season 1, The Santa Clauses season 2 presents some new faces. Screen Rant's exclusive featurette focuses on the introduction of Modern Family's Eric Stonestreet as the Mad Santa who has spent the years trapped at a Christmas-themed fun park. The video also acquaints viewers with characters such as Kris Kringle Moreno and the Easter Bunny .
After receiving news that the elves are disappearing and Christmas is being dissolved altogether, the Calvins set out to save the holiday. Through the endeavor, they realize that their hearts are still in the North Pole and that they're not ready to leave their home anytime soon. In addition, Scott realizes that he made a mistake by choosing a stranger to be his successor, as being Santa Claus is something that should stay within the family.
The Santa Clauses season 2 trailer shows the Calvins on a magical sleigh ride with the loops causing Cal to pass out in the backseat. Enacting his new family business plan, Scott puts Sandra in charge of the reindeer and starts training Cal to take over as Santa Claus. Yet, if Cal's first delivery attempt is anything to go off of, being Santa won't come as naturally to him as Scott originally hoped.
