The Penguin: Colin Farrell Says Matt Reeves Won’t Direct HBO Max Series

, Farrell revealed that executive producer Matt Reeves is still working on writing the script, while also meticulously planningThe Golden Globe winning actor also confirmed that Reeves won’t be taking on any directorial duties for, but is instead heavily involved in the selection of who will be directing the upcoming DC series.
“Matt’s up to his bollocks, you know, hovering over the keyboard and just planning the story because he’s just so meticulous,” Farrell teased. “He’s so obsessive about what he does, but he’s all over [HBO Max’s][series] as well. I mean, he’s not gonna direct it but he’s all over the structure of the scripts and who’s gonna direct them.
