Warner Bros. Pictures releases the first official trailer for the Conjuring Universe movie The Nun 2, starring Taissa Farmiga and Bonnie Aarons.
The official trailer for The Nun 2 has been unleashed. The horror movie, which is the ninth entry in The Conjuring Universe, is a sequel to 2018's The Nun. The first movie was set in 1952 and followed Father Burke , novitiate Sister Irene , and their guide Frenchie as they investigated a secluded Romanian monastery that was haunted by a demonic nun . Aarons, Farmiga, and Bloquet will be returning in the sequel alongside new cast members Storm Reid, Anna Popplewell, and Katelyn Rose Downey.
The trailer promises another eerie adventure after the demonic nun, who is also known as Valak, resurfaces to torment the young students at a French boarding school. Sister Irene is forced to return to face the entity after it emerges from inside Frenchie, where it took refuge at the end of the previous movie when it was thought to have been defeated.
