“We are proceeding as planned and look forward to a wonderful evening,” said Nancy Chilton, chief external relations officer of the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. She added that, while all current plans for theare still on the calendar, “we will of course continue to keep a close eye on the situation.”
