With no sign of Marvel's first X-Men movie, the MCU has finally confirmed the reason we've not met any of Fox's mutants properly yet.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Summary It's taken 4 years, but the MCU just revealed its first legitimate look at the X-Men in The Marvels post-credits scene . Kelsey Grammer 's Beast has been confirmed as the surprising first X-Men team member to join the sprawling Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline.
So far, MCU X-Men and mutant teases have been vaguely peppered throughout different movies and TV shows. They notably include Peggy Carter mentioning that Captain Braddock's unit was overcome by a character shooting lightning bolts through to Secret Invasion's background reveal of the X-Gene. However, there's never been an explanation for where the mutants could have been hiding.
Is Beast's Universe The Fox X-Men Universe? Though it's unclear, there are several hints that the reality Monica Rambeau is transported to at the end of The Marvels is the same universe as the Fox X-Men movie timeline. First, there's the fact that Kelsey Grammer's Beast is there, rather than a newly cast version of the character. Then there's the continued presence of Professor Charles Xavier .
How The X-Men Can Come To The Mainline MCU After The Marvels While Marvel's explanation of incursions has so far been somewhat vague, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness established that they are the result of realities bleeding into one another. Adding to that, The Marvels suggests that the boundaries between realities can be breached without a catastrophic incursion .
