Keeping with Marvel tradition, The Marvels features two post-credits scenes.
It wouldn't be a Marvel movie without a tag or two teasing future Marvel projects once the credits begin to roll. The Marvels is no different, with the feature being sure to include a couple of post-credits scenes after the movie ends. In total, two post-credit scenes are included, the typical amount for most MCU projects.
Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has spoken to the importance of post-credits scenes, telling us last summer that mini-bursts of MCU goodness allow filmmakers to further their creativity, regardless of connectivity to the larger franchise. "The truth is, all of the tags are never just about the future. There are tags that are eating shwarma, Captain America saying you know you gotta learn patience, sometimes, you know, you wait for something that's not worth it. So they are always fun for us," Feige told us at SDCC 2022.
He added,"We don't want everything to feel the same. So some of the tags will connect and some of them won't. Some of the films and shows will connect; some of them won't. I think it's just as important that we can have standalone introductory stories like Ms. Marvel, like Moon Knight, in addition to things that interconnect and build towards the larger story.
In The Marvels, which arrives in theaters on November 10th, Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan, Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol's estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.
