A release date for The Housemaid's Secret, a sequel to 2025's The Housemaid starring Sydney Sweeney, has been announced.
, is now in development. This will adapt the second book in McFadden’s series, which is also titled The Housemaid’s Secret. Currently, Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Secret Wars and Warner Bros. Pictures’ The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum are also scheduled to arrive on December 17, 2027.
Disney’s Frozen 3 is dated to arrive a few weeks before, on November 24, while Columbia Pictures’ Buds and Universal Pictures’ Murder, She Wrote both have December 22 release dates. Sweeney will reprise her role as Millie in The Housemaid’s Secret, while Morrone also returns as Enzo. Nina and Andrew Winchester are not in The Housemaid’s Secret novel, and there’s been no announcement about Seyfried or Sklenar reprising their roles; however, it is known thatA description of the book reads, “It’s hard to find an employer who doesn’t ask too many questions about my past.
