I most recently took on a role working at, a platform where professionals of the same industry have conversations about work semi-anonymously - ironically the place where The Boss Ladies ended up going viral and the platform where I met my Boss Ladies cofounder and work wife, Christina Jones. I lead Brand and Community there. And yes, I made up that title. That’s what happens with innovative companies—there are new needs and new roles to be created, and you just have to get creative.
I decided to go back into advertising but only if I could work for a woman. I started a list of 5 women I knew of on a shared Google Sheet. I then shared it on Fishbowl and left the access open. And it blew up from there.
