But No. 22 Texas was the better team this time around, claiming a tense 24-21 win over Iowa State despite some sloppy moments.The Longhorns failed to score off a blocked punt recovered at the Iowa State 21. Then Dekkers took it on himself to regain the lead, tucking and running up the gut from 11 yards out to put the Cyclones ahead 21-17 with 10:58 remaining.
