is excited to present Pulitzer Prize-winning historian Annette Gordon-Reed at our first in-person event of the year. Gordon-Reed will discuss her booka powerful exploration of Texas history and the way it is taught, from the perspective of a Harvard scholar who was educated in Texas public schools.
She will be in conversation with Kathleen McElroy, professor of journalism at the School of Journalism at the Moody College of Communications, University of Texas at Austin.will also honor McElroy with a special MOLLY First Amendment Prize for her achievements in journalism education and commitment to academic freedom.
