Grieving mom sues Enterprise for daughter's death due to a poorly maintained rental car tire.
Lourdes Galeas is suing Enterprise, claiming negligence in the fatal crash that killed her daughter Jenny, who was a passenger in a rental car with a bald tire that hydroplaned on State Highway 95 in Williamson County earlier this year. A grieving mother is suing the rental company Enterprise, claiming negligence caused the crash that killed her daughter Jenny Galeas in Williamson County earlier this year.
As a mother, Gaedes is grieving. Her middle daughter Jenny died in a crash in early January after the rental car she was a passenger in hydroplaned. "It's a pain you don't get over with anything," Galeas said. "Because of this, I've gotten illnesses I've never gotten before." The crash report notes one of the tires was measured at a tread depth of 2/32 of an inch, a depth the Texas Department of Public Safety notes shouldn't be drivable. Galeas is now suing Enterprise, which issued the rental car.Stranger makes life-saving kidney donation to Central Texas toddler
